Carmen is an intimate tapas bar established in Clapham, 1996 where the decoration and the friendly attentive staff, creates an atmosphere that will make you feel right at home.

And, perhaps, even temporarily you will be transported from Clapham, South London to Southern Spain.

At Carmen we believe the best way to enjoy a true tapas experience is by sharing. That way you can enjoy a wider variety of dishes and sample more different Spanish wines.

Just as in Spain, we always encourage the option of our customers eating their tapas at the bar.

And don’t forget, once the restaurant gets very full, this is where you get a faster service!
